The Artist

April is an Indigenous artist who hails from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia living in Antigonish with her husband and daughter. She discovered in her late thirties a love of songwriting, and now shares her original songs on her social media. Her style is a soft, mellow acoustic sound that runs along the lines of folk and country.

Although she does perform local gigs, her dream is to be a songwriter behind the scenes. She has written over 200 songs to completion and also released an full-length album in 2022, available on all streaming platforms.
